Third-Party Inspection (T.P.I.) services in logistics and distribution centers ensure that products and goods are stored and transported in accordance with safety specifications and good engineering practices by qualified and/or certified personnel.
Collaborating with Ergocert for T.P.I. services in logistics and distribution centers provides the customer with assurance and reliability. An inspection ensures the quality compliance of the facilities and equipment with the specified requirements and prevents situations that could cause material and financial damage to the client.

T.P.I. inspection is carried out according to the client's quality programs, in agreement with the designer and manufacturer, to ensure that the construction works comply with the relevant Technical Specifications or contractual obligations.
The requirements, duration, and type of T.P.I. Inspections are determined by the client, in accordance with an approved Quality Plan or Inspection and Test Plan.

Storage Systems (Stacking Racks)
Inspections of product storage systems (stacking racks) are carried out in accordance with European control standards EN 15635, EN 15629, EN 15620, while any inspection specifications and guidelines from the manufacturer are also taken into account.
During the inspection, the technical file and relevant system certificates are examined, dimensional control is performed, the system is checked for cracks or damage, the correct installation of the loads is verified, and static load tests are conducted.
For the first inspection of Storage Systems (Stacking Racks), Ergocert recommends inspecting all storage racks of the facility..
For each periodic inspection, a sample inspection of a percentage of the total may be agreed upon, provided that a preventive check is carried out by specialized technical personnel of the shelf owner in the meantime and at intervals not exceeding 6 months.
Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA)
In businesses or logistics centers where the transport, loading, or unloading of dangerous goods such as flammable liquids, gasses, explosives, etc. takes place, it is necessary, according to the ADR agreement, to appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to avoid risks and accidents for the goods and personnel.
The subject of the inspection includes parameters such as cargo packaging and labeling, necessary transport documents, means of transport and their compliance with safety requirements, and the suitability of the responsible personnel.
Inspection Results
Upon completion of each individual inspection, an Inspection Report is issued, detailing the requirements and results of the inspection.
