Maintenance refers to regular, preventive work carried out by maintenance companies at intervals of up to 45 days for use in residential buildings.<\/p><p>Certification is a process undertaken by an Accredited Inspection Body and involves checking and confirming compliance with safety standards and legal requirements. The certification of an elevator includes a complete technical inspection of the elevator systems, as well as many other functional safety tests.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-906c991 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"906c991\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Initial Lift Inspection - CE Marking <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8158e64 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8158e64\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"translation-block\">The initial inspection of a lift is the conformity assessment inspection for CE marking in every new lift in accordance with the requirements of European Directive 2014\/33\/EU.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-66819a5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"66819a5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<ul><li>The Initial lift inspection is mandatory<\/li><li>The inspection is carried out by Notified Bodies, such as Ergocert Hellas S.A.<\/li><li>The initial inspection request in an obligation of the installer or owner of the lift<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-908a519 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"908a519\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Periodic Lift Inspection<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ea860dd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ea860dd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Periodic lift inspection is the inspection of an existing lift that is already in use and serves the needs of lifting and transporting people and loads. Periodic lift inspection is mandatory under the provisions of national legislation (FEK 2604\/B\/2008).<\/p><p>Existing elevators must be inspected periodically at specific intervals of 1 to 6 years, depending on their use (residential, business, hotel, public space for the general public) of the building in which they are located.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
