Approval of Welding Methods and Welders 

According to Directive 2014/68/EU (Annex I, para. 3.1.2), any kind of welding process conducted on pressure equipment requires inspection of the welding, certification of the welding process, and approval of the welder’s ability. ERGOCERT HELLAS SA, as a Notified and Accredited Inspection Body (Notified Body number N.B. 2421), can successfully undertake conformity assessment for welding, the certification of welding procedures and the approval of the welders’ ability, in accordance with international standards (according to EN, ASME, API), as it employs for this purpose experienced and accredited welding inspectors certified (levels II and III) in non-destructive tests (NDT).
